A Few Words About Parent Coaching
Parent Coaching is not a set of ready-made instructions or “lessons” on how to become the perfect parent. It is a dynamic, one-to-one process, tailored to the needs of your own family.
A Few Words About Parent Coaching
My approach is based on the model and contemporary principles of the Parent Coaching Institute. It views the family as a living system, where every change creates a new balance.
We do not work with fixed formulas. Instead, through the relationship we build, the right questions and the recognition of your own strengths, we help you become the parent you want to be.
What Exactly Do We Do Through This Approach?
We shine a light on what is already working: Rather than focusing only on problems, we identify your inner strengths, values and successes, so we can build on them.
We look at the bigger picture: We take into account the challenges of modern life, your everyday reality and the transitions your family is going through, so that the solutions we develop are realistic and practical.
We see the family as a living organism: Your family is not a machine that needs to be “fixed”, but a living system that is constantly growing and changing. When one family member changes, the balance of the entire system shifts. Together, we create an environment that supports the system’s natural movement towards well being, growth and harmony.
We co-create personalized solutions: There is no single “right” way that works for everyone. You bring your deep knowledge of your child, and I bring structure, thoughtful questions and practical tools. Together, we design the next step.
We cultivate perspective and growth: We transform the stress of everyday life into an opportunity for learning and personal development.
What Ιs Not Parent Coaching?
To be completely clear, it is important to understand that this process is not psychotherapy or mental health counselling.
- Psychotherapy often focuses on healing past trauma or addressing clinical conditions.
- Coaching is a short-term process focused on the present and the future.
- We are not here to “treat” something that is broken. We are here to build your next step by drawing on the strengths you already have within you.
How Long Does It Last?
Because change needs time to be absorbed and create meaningful results, our work is organised into a series of sessions:
Initial Programme:
A cycle of 8–12 sessions is usually recommended.
Frequency:
Sessions take place every one or two weeks, giving you time to put the solutions we develop into practice.
Session Duration:
Each online session lasts 60 minutes.
Transformation Begins When We Embrace Our Own True Colors
Through our sessions, you will discover your own answers and create a family life that feels calmer, warmer and more truly your own.
